Guide to Marketing Your Home

The successful marketing of your property includes two elements:

PRICING and PRESENTATION

PRICING is more of an art than a science, although statistical data is very important in helping determine value.  The data your Realtor will use should include current and sold listings from MLS (Multiple Listing Service) as part of the Comparative Market Analysis (CMA).  The CMA is used to determine a price range for your property.  YOU, as the SELLER, decide where in that price range you want to be.  To request a Comparative Market Analysis, click here.

PRESENTATION includes preparing your home by putting its best face on before the listing begins.  First impressions are important, so read the following Home Selling Tips and use them as a guide when readying your home for showings.

Your Realtor will outline the INTEGRITY MARKETING PLAN to expose the property in as many venues as possible.  Internet marketing is important because of the increasing number of buyers who use it to look at homes; newspaper ads, open houses, MLS, all of these are appropriate tools for exposing your home to potential buyers.
